Good Windsurfing on Wednesday

I was getting some pretty high jumps in - some of the jumps were the highest I have had

Tommy was sailing really well and his table tops are looking good

The 'point' was great with some good swell and some really big sets too. Dana in this pic going for backloops.
Sean Arrigo took all the pics on Wednesday. Looking forward to getting some more.

This yacht is racing in the Rolex Middle Sea Race right now. Next week I am joining it on the delivery to Gran Canaria. It is a Beneteau 47.7 and is owned by Global Yacht Racing.

This is a small video of me yesterday doing a backwind gybe in Ghallis. The conditions were really bad!

Allison Shreeve and her Bass Strait Crossing

Allison attempted to windsurf across the 240Km Bass Strait from Tasmania to Australia this week. After 9 hours of tough 30 to 35km winds and 2 to 4 m swells she had to stop cos she was getting alot of cramp and hypothermia. Allison still managed to achieve one of her main aims which was to sail 100km of the Australian coast using sail power. She did this to raise money for Coastcare.
You can see some video and read about Coastcare on these links:

I ALSO STARTED TO MONO SKI WHICH IS FREAKY FAST AND EXCITING WITH GREAT WIPE OUTS - OUCH!

THIS AFTERNOON HOPE TO GO AND DO SOME TIME ON A THUNDERCAT WITH A FRIEND.

FISHING HAS ALSO BEEN BAD - SEEMS THEY ARE NOT BITING RIGHT NOW, THINK THEY ARE IN DEEPER WATER COS THE WATER TEMP. IS PRETTY WARM .

Some short Video

I went down quickly the other day when I got back from school. It was a dying wind and it was a bit difficult to do anything much. So they are quite boring! Oh well better than nothing.

Stormy Thursday

This is a really short video and not very good but it shows all

the mush and strong current we had during the storm on Thursday.

I also managed a few vulcans and tried some geckos just for fun.

Try doing a gecko in a force 8-9! It's cool!

No Wind

There's been no wind - so nothing to report. Forecast looking good for next week so maybe will get some surf time and also some new pics.

Quote of the day: ''The Hour of Power'' - Jem Hall Ace Windsurfing Coach

Meaning: You sail just a short time but you give it all you got!
